Every writing surface leaves through the same Send/Export sheet. Open the page’s menu and choose Send/Export; the sheet offers a picture, a linked PDF, an email, a WordPress post, a community post, and Bluesky syndication.

What the sheet is given

Three things, from whatever page you are on: the page rendered as a picture, the text the page already knows it says, and its links. Links are found in the typed text and in your handwriting, so a web address you wrote by hand becomes a real link in the PDF and the email. A surface that genuinely lacks one of the three says so; a typed Text note has no picture, for instance.

The outputs

• Picture — a PNG of the page at full resolution. Save it to Photos or hand it to another app.
• Linked PDF — one page per page, with links that work when tapped rather than text that merely looks blue. A multi-page note becomes a multi-page PDF.
• Email — the page inline in the letter, the words and links as real text, and the PDF attached if you want it. See Send a page as email.
• WordPress — draft or publish, to whichever connected site you choose. The page image rides as the featured image and the transcription becomes the body. See Publish to WordPress.
• Community — a post in a community space on your site, where the site has one.
• Bluesky — a switch on the WordPress row. On, the post is tagged so your site’s syndication job picks it up and posts it to Bluesky on one of its next passes, about every half hour, with a link back. Ledgable never talks to Bluesky itself.
• Add to a note and Task — file the page onto another note, or make a task from it.

Provenance

A picture or PDF that leaves the app carries a small footer: which surface it came from, which day, the note’s title, and what it points at. Fields with nothing behind them are left off rather than printed empty. A named note exports under its own name; the subject line, the title and the file name all carry it.

Choosing pages

For a multi-page note the sheet opens with a page picker, so you can send one page, a range, or all of them.

Other ways out

• Hold a row in the Notebook and choose Export without opening the note.
• Capture sections in the wrench takes each zone of the day page as its own image.
• Hold a comic panel or a crop of any page to save it to Photos or place it as a pick.
• Text notes can also be mirrored to a folder of Markdown files, one per day, if you turn that on in Settings.

What does not leave

The export is a copy. The page stays in the day file, and nothing about the day changes because you sent it somewhere.
