The Net: the browser
Keeps, picks, bookmarks, links to Later, and saving a page as a book.
The Net is Ledgable’s browser, built so the habit of opening a new tab becomes saving for later. Open it from the sidebar; the same folder gathers everything to do with your website.

Reading a page
- The title bar is the address bar. Tap it to type an address; your bookmarks are listed beneath, sorted by name.
- The page’s verbs ride the tuck rail on the edge, the same rail the day page has. Tucked, it is a hairline; open, it holds the room’s actions.
- On a Boox, the volume rocker pages the site one screen at a time — an instant jump, no glide.
Links
A tap follows a link and records the step, so the trail is your history: where you were, tied to where you went. A hold keeps it instead of spawning a tab, with three choices: Later (onto the Later List), Pick (a link card on today’s All Picks), or Go.
Links → Later takes every link on the page and files the lot, the same verb that works on an email or an article.
Keeps and bookmarks
The 🔖 button opens the launcher: your ★ bookmarks, sorted; the Later List, which loads in this reader; and doors to the three reading lenses. Bookmarks are kept in a small side file at the root of your sync hub, so one saved on the Boox is on the iPad, and they survive a reinstall. Swipe a bookmark to remove it.
Save a page as a book
📕 Save as a book binds the page you are reading into a real book on the Bookshelf, under a Web shelf, with its images fetched in. A book that still needs the network is not a book; this one opens offline, in the reader, with highlights, picks and read-aloud like any other. It is the right move for a long essay you would rather read as pages than as a scroll.
The rest of the folder
The Net also holds the site side of the app, once a WordPress site is connected:
- Publish and Posts — write a post, or see everything you have published, scheduled or drafted across every site.
- The site switcher, when you have more than one.
- Portal · Courses · Shop · Support portal — your site’s own pages, opened in the browser.
- Messages · Site Boards · Community feed · Support — the site’s conversations and records. See Messages, boards and bookings.
What The Net is not
It has no tabs. It does not keep a history list separate from your trail. It does not sync passwords or cookies. It is a reading room with doors into the ledger, and everything you keep from it is a pick, a bookmark, a Later item or a book — things the rest of the app already knows how to find.
