Every YouTube channel publishes a real feed; YouTube just never shows it to you. Ledgable takes any YouTube link and turns it into a subscription in The Watch, with no algorithm, no autoplay, and nothing recommended.

On Android

1. Copy any YouTube link: a video, a Short, a channel page, an @handle, an old /user/ or /c/ address.
2. Incoming › Add a feed by URL. Paste it.
3. Ledgable digs the channel out of the page and subscribes to the channel’s own feed. The channel’s name becomes the feed’s name.

On iPhone and iPad

Paste the channel’s feed address into Local Feeds, or into your feed server’s Add page. The address is always the same shape:

The channel id starts with UC. It is in the page source of any channel page (search for channel_id), and Daniel Miessler’s note shows the two-minute way to find it. If you use Miniflux, its own Add page understands a channel address directly.

What you get

• New videos arrive in The Watch as entries with the description, sorted by time like everything else.
• Tap one and it plays in the reader where the channel allows embedding. Channels that forbid embedding open in the browser instead; Ledgable says so rather than showing a blank box.
• Videos are not downloaded unless you turn that on in Settings › Feeds › Downloads, because a feed of talks can quietly fill a device.
• Star a video and it joins All Stars under The Watch. Pick from the description like any article.

Playlists

A playlist has a feed too: https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?playlist_id=PL…. The same address works for any public playlist you can see.
